  • What motivated you to become a therapist? In my adolescence, I had a transformative experience with a social worker who made me feel seen, heard, and valued – I knew immediately that I wanted to be able to do that for and with others.

What do you like most about being a therapist? Being able to share deeply human moments with other humans.

What’s a question you wish clients asked you more often? “Do you go to therapy?” The answer is an unequivocal YES!

What’s a small but powerful tool you use in therapy sessions? Slowing down.

What helps you stay well? Spending quality time with loved ones, movement of any kind, lots of sleep, and hearty laughter.

How do you keep your inner therapist and your inner human balanced? My inner therapist reminds my inner human that it’s okay to feel all the things, and my inner human reminds my inner therapist that it’s okay to binge watch reality TV after a long week.

What’s something small that’s brought you joy recently? What I call a “European afternoon”: taking an intentional break and heading to a cafe for an espresso and a sweet treat.

With over five years of counselling experience focusing on easing anxiety, low mood, and attachment struggles, I’m deeply passionate about building supportive relationships with clients as a foundation to work on feeling more balanced, connected, and motivated. As someone with lived experience managing ADHD and my own mental health, I understand the unique challenges that come with adulting in this context. Everyone comes to therapy with their own unique experiences and reasons for seeking support; my aim is to help you feel more mobilized to discover and meet your needs outside of therapy.

Practicing from a trauma-informed and attachment-based lens, I draw from a variety of modalities including psychodynamic and somatic approaches such as Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy or AEDP (certified Level 1), Internal Family Systems therapy (IFS or parts work), and Intensive Short Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP). You are already on your way to exactly where you need to be. I’m here to walk that path with you, moment by moment, as you gain more inner stability, clarity, and confidence to connect with the world around you. Head to my website link above to schedule a brief, casual call. I’m looking forward to the journey ahead.
